Josh Allen’s girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld posts a cryptic Instagram story
The Buffalo Bills’ playoff run came to an abrupt end after a 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round.
Although Bills quarterback Josh Allen was visibly devastated after the loss, he is finding solace in his second favorite sport. The 27-year-old competed in the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which started on February 1st. However, before Allen hit the California coast, he spent time with his girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld in Orange County.
Allen and Steinfeld were spotted by TMZ driving their Range Rover to meet friends in Dana Point. While it’s unclear whether Steinfeld traveled to the golf tournament with Allen, her latest Instagram post has turned some heads.
On February 2, the Oscar-nominated actress shared a brief video on her Instagram Stories. Although Steinfeld doesn’t say anything in the video, the background music of Mega Rev’s “Something’s Coming” caught fans’ attention.
While Steinfeld’s teasing may have nothing to do with Allen, many of her 20.9 million followers on the social media app are eager to know the answer. One person reposted her video and wrote, “Literally I’m looking at the sound of ‘Something’s coming’ from @haileesteinfeld’s recent story. Let all our delulu become trululu ✨😂.” Another person commented: “I NEED MORE INFORMATION.”
The fan account wrote: “Queen posted (hope her song choice for this story means something (no, I delulu).”

Allen and Steinfeld have kept a low profile since they first started dating in May. Although she avoids the jumbotron, she has attended nearly every Bills game this season, both home and away.
During the months-long film and television actors’ strike, Steinfeld spent most of the NFL season in Buffalo. Ahead of the Bills’ Week 4 game, she went shopping with Lavonne Allen, Josh’s mother, to buy some Bills gear. Shortly after, the couple made their first public appearance together at the Buffalo Sabers’ home opener at Keybank Stadium on October 12.
Steinfeld celebrated her 27th birthday with Allen in December, which coincided with the Bills’ annual holiday party. Although Steinfeld missed the Bills’ regular season finale because she was performing at the Golden Globes, she returned to Buffalo for the Wild Card round.
While walking the awards ceremony’s red carpet, Steinfeld addressed engagement rumors. When asked about the huge ring on her finger, “I’ve got a cute little doe going on,” she said, showing off the sparkly bauble. On whether the ring she wore on her right hand had a deeper meaning: “There’s no particular reason,” she said. “Except I thought it was really cute.”
To the question: “What is it about a sports man?” She replied: “Listen, what are we talking about? Come on.”
Although Steinfeld was not seen on television during the Chiefs-Bills matchup, her parents were spotted shopping in Buffalo before kickoff. Allen’s mom started following Steinfeld’s mother, Sheri Steinfeld, after the game.

Shortly after Allen and Steinfeld began dating last spring, the MVP candidate bought a $7.5 million home in Dana Point, California. Allen’s home is located in the exclusive gated community of Monarch Bay, which includes access to the Waldorf Astoria’s private Monarch Bay Beach Club. The resort has an oceanfront golf course, which is likely a big draw for the avid golfer.
The new home also makes it much easier to spend time with Steinfeld during the off-season. Steinfeld lives in Encino, a northwest Los Angeles suburb about 80 miles from Dana Point. The 26-year-old “Love Myself” singer purchased John Fogerty’s former Encino home for $8 million in 2021, according to Realtor.com.
During an appearance on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast last June, Allen discussed his offseason routine. “Stand back, try not to do as much, still throw a little, still train a little and just try to maintain the weight – that’s really what I’m trying to do,” he said. “I think I’m letting my body rest and recover.”
Allen noted that his strength coaches “wouldn’t like to hear it,” but “the last two offseasons I haven’t done much of anything leading up to OTAs (organized team activities). And we have baseline testing, and both years I came back and tested much higher than I’ve ever tested in my career. So I’ll keep doing it.”
