Kanye West claimed that Johan Hill has made it ‘like the Jewish people again’.

The ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper previously lost his contract with Adidas, was fired by CAA agents and the Def Jam record label and was distanced from Balenciaga and Vogue magazine over a series of anti-Semitic comments he made last year, including praising the ‘good things’ of Adolf Hitler and declaring that he wanted to go ‘with death on the Jewish people’.

But now the 45-year-old rapper, who has four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, has had a change of heart after seeing Johan in his 2012 film ’21 Jump Street’.

Returning to Instagram for the first time in 2023, Kanye shared a poster photo for the movie, writing:

‘Seeing Jonah Hill in the 21st Street Jump made me feel Jewish again. No one should get angry at one or two individuals and turn it into hatred towards millions of innocent people. No Christian can be labeled an anti-Semite knowing that Jesus is a Jew. Thank you Jonah Hill, I love you.’

While Jonah has yet to comment on West’s post, one of the film’s directors, Christopher Miller, shared a screenshot of the hitmaker’s Instagram post as ‘All Day’ on Twitter, writing:

‘Um…thanks for looking.’

Kanye caused outrage in 2022 when he said he sees ‘good things’ about Hitler.

The controversial rap star explained:

“I love everyone, and the Jews are not going to tell me: ‘You can love us and you can love what we’re doing to you with contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with pornography.’ But this guy who invented highways and invented the very microphone that he uses as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did something good and I’m done with it. I’m done with the rankings.’

West added:

‘All human beings have something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler. How about that one?’
