Finding the perfect balance between family and romance is never an easy task—even for a Kardashian.
In the last episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashiansthe older sister of the famous clan opened up about the difficulties of spending time with her boyfriend, the model Younes Bendjima, without neglecting her three children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign.
“I definitely learned from my past relationship, where I never traveled without my kids, and I think it’s important to give myself the time, especially since my relationship is important to me,” Kourtney explained.
“Just because those worlds aren’t colliding right now, I want to make sure I have time for both. And I think that going on a trip from time to time reminds me of the importance of being present when I am at home. And I think she makes me the best mom I can be.”
The episode released this Sunday was recorded in August—just a couple of months after Kourtney and Younes began dating—when the couple decided to travel to Egypt together. At the time, the reality star’s boyfriend had yet to meet Kourtney and Scott’s children.
Shortly after the trip, an insider said of Kardashian’s new romance: “It’s definitely something serious. No one thought their relationship would last, but Kourtney is so happy.”
“Younes has already met his children. Kourtney’s family likes him a lot. He is the opposite of Scott. He doesn’t party, he doesn’t show off, and he treats Kourtney with a lot of respect. It’s obvious that he really cares about Kourtney.”
Meanwhile, Scott Disick, Kardashian’s ex-partner, is in a relationship with 19-year-old model Sofia Richie, with whom he spent the weekend in Mexico. After roughly eight months together, Sofia has yet to meet Scott’s children.
It seems that in this field, Younes and Kourt are ahead!
