After a tumultuous pregnancy, Kourtney Kardashian, 44, and Travis Barker, 47, have welcomed their first child together.
Courtney’s baby – who is said to be named Rocky Thirteen Barker – was cause for huge celebration, after she initially struggled to conceive with her Blink 182 drummer husband.
The Kardashian star hasn’t posted photos of her newborn son yet, but Travis shared a video of himself playing drums while his wife was at work — we’re not sure we’ll thank him for that.
While keeping pretty quiet about the baby and her health post-birth, Kourtney shared a Bible verse on her Instagram Story that references ‘abundance’ in life.
It appears to be taken from a daily affirmations style book, on the page titled November 12 it reads: ‘This is a time of abundance in your life. Your cup is filled with blessings.
The quote is from the Bible, coming from Psalm 23, possibly describing how the mother is feeling at this time with her new ‘blessing’.
It continued: ‘After weeks of climbing, you are now traipsing across lush, sun-drenched meadows. I wish you to enjoy this time of rest and refreshment to the fullest.
‘I’m happy to make it available to you.’
The verse then continues with further quotes from the Bible dealing with those who reject God’s ‘gifts’ and consider themselves unworthy, which makes them ‘miserable’.
Of all her siblings, Kourtney is the most vocal about her religion, but it is rarely discussed by the Kardashians – except in the phrase ‘Bible’.
Kourtney is already mom to 12-year-old Mason, nine-year-old Penelope and seven-year-old Reign, whom she shares with her former longtime partner Scott Disick, while Travis has 19-year-old Landon and 17-year-old Alabama with ex-wife Shanna Are. Moakler, 48.
The Lamé founder spent three days at L.A.’s Cedars Sinai Hospital last week after giving birth on Saturday, as she and her husband were seen driving away on Tuesday after welcoming their son.
After a ‘stressful’ pregnancy, Kourtney is said to be ‘over the moon’ with her happiness – keeping herself in a postpartum bubble.
It’s unknown whether mom Kris Jenner and the huge family have yet to meet the newest member of the Kardashian clan, but we’re sure they won’t be away for long.
