Kwasi Sibo, Real Oviedo’s new signing | Real Oviedo

Real Oviedo have reached an agreement with footballer Kwasi Sibo, according to which he will become the new player of the blue team until June 2026.

Kwasi Sibo, 26, born June 24, 1998 in Wa (Ghana). The midfielder joins the blue team from SD Amorebieta, the team where he has been playing for the last two seasons. After being promoted to the second division in the 22/23 season, the footballer has become a key player in this campaign for the Basque team, with whom he has played 41 games, adding a total of 3143 minutes and scoring a goal.

The African player trained in the youth team of FC Chita until he signed a contract with FC Urartu of the Armenian Premier League in September 2017. The level offered by the player made English club Watford take advantage of his services, although during his time with the British team he played on loan for Skenderbeu in Albania and for UD Ibiza, a team with which he managed to climb to the top of the league table silver in the 2020/2021 season.

Kwasi Sibo’s last experience before joining Amorebieta was with the reserve team of Real Betis Balompie, for whom he played a total of 32 matches in the First Federation and played a total of 1,290 minutes.
