Lady Gaga and Salma Hayek reunited at Leonardo DiCaprio’s 49th birthday party on Saturday.
The House of Gucci co-stars were spotted leaving the Titanic actor’s star-studded party in Beverly Hills and heading home in separate cars.
Hayek, 57, wore the same dazzling, emerald green gown she wore to the annual Baby2Baby Gala earlier in the evening.
The Magic Mike’s Last Dance star was seen focusing on her phone after getting into her car and driving home.
The Just Dance singer was seen heading home late in the evening with her platinum blonde hair still completely intact in a sleek updo.
Previously, the two starred opposite each other in House of Gucci, an American biographical crime drama film released in November 2021.
In January 2022, Gaga revealed that there was a cut of the film that depicted a sexual relationship between her and Hayek.
According to Variety, while speaking to the UK cast she explained how there was ‘a whole side to this film that you didn’t see’ between her character, Patrizia Reggiani, and Hayek’s Giuseppina ‘Pina’ Auriemma.
He admitted, ‘There’s a whole side of this film that you haven’t seen, where Pina and I have a sexual relationship.’ ‘Director’s cut, who knows.’
He recalled that while on set while they were shooting the film, he suggested to the director and Hayek to take the relationship between the two leading ladies to a sexual level.
‘It’s a testament to (Ridley Scott) as a director because he allowed us to go there, and I remember being on set with Salma and going, “So after Maurizio died, maybe it Will it get hot?” And she said, “What are you talking about?”
In the film, Patrizia and Pina were co-conspirators in the murder of Maurizio Gucci – played by Adam Driver – and take their relationship to another level in this unseen version narrated by Gaga.
Hayek confirmed the scenes described by Gaga, before noting that they had a ‘delicious relationship’ at House of Gucci.
‘You think she’s joking,’ Hayek said, adding that moviegoers ‘didn’t get to see all the scenes’ because many of them were cut from the final version.
Hayek also described improvising scenes with Gaga on set as they played ‘two girls from a different class’ who were ‘kind of having a blast in this big world.’
According to the film’s official synopsis, the story follows Patrizia Reggiani ‘an outsider from humble beginnings (who) marries into the Gucci family’.
The twist in the plot begins when ‘her unbridled ambition begins to unravel the family legacy and begins a reckless cycle of betrayal, downfall, revenge – and ultimately murder.’
