Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and George Clooney… Stars visit the 81st Mostra de Venise
After the American stars who came to visit late last year (seriously, Hollywood), the 2024 Venice Film Festival has secured a slew of big names for its Atlantic-side venues. George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not yet in Italy for Mostra, which debuts on August 28.
Out of competition, this is the new Tim Burton, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (released 36 years after its premiere), which was released on August 28. On the red carpet there is a casting of five actors: Monica Bellucci, Winona Ryder, Michael Keaton and young Jenna Ortega, revealed by the Netflix series Mercredi.
Angelina Jolie, “Joker” and Nicole Kidman

For Wolves, the hours-long competition, there’s the most Hollywood duo to splatter the red carpet. Brad Pitt and George Clooney are in Venice to promote Jon Watts’ comedy thriller, which opens Sept. 1.
The 81st edition of Mostra de Venise will debut on August 28. The jury, chaired by Isabelle Huppert, will select the winners on September 7.
