The participation of Lady Gaga in the sequel to joker has aroused once again the curiosity of all those who await this film with high expectations. It is once again the topic of conversation after some new photographs of the production that would reveal the costumes and makeup that the artist would use in the film.

This sequel will be named Folie à Deux and would have Gaga in the role of Harley Quinn. The graphics were disseminated by Variety, and in these you can see Gaga’s character being escorted by police officers from the fictional Gotham City on her way to a government building.

Extras dressed as protesters can also be seen gathering around the star, holding signs with messages like “Free Joker”, “Justice 4 Joker”, “Joker Marry Me” and “No Justice Not Guilty Not Joking”.

While it has yet to be officially confirmed that Gaga will play Harley Quinn, the scarlet jacket and diamond-print top plus the iconic makeup on her face give the clues needed to surmise.

This isn’t the first look at Gaga from the set. On Valentine’s Day, director Todd Phillips shared an image of Gaga and Phoenix in a romantic scene.

Last year it was confirmed that Lady Gaga would co-star in the sequel to the 2019 film Margot Robbie, who played Harley Quinn in movies like the suicide squad and Birds of preysent Lady Gaga good luck in the iconic role on MTV News in October 2022.

Joker: Folie à deux It’s not part of the DC Universe that James Gunn and Peter Safran are building and it has its own timeline. Safran said this movie will be “clearly labeled as DC Elseworlds, just like the comics do.”
