Lamin Yamal is a favorite to win the Golden Boy award




Player of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national football team. Lamin Yamalis one of 25 finalists for the 2024 Golden Boy Award, given to the best young player of the previous season. The Golden Boy is awarded to the best under-21 player of the year, a kind of youth Ballon d’Or awarded by the Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the winner of which will be announced on December 16 at a gala in Turin. The winner from these 25 finalists will be chosen by 50 sports journalists from across Europe who will choose the best young person of the year.
