Martin Short and Steve Martin Are the Father of Selena Gomez’s Bride in ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Episode 9 (Video)

Tuesday’s episode of “Only Murders in the Building” Season 3 will have its own “Father of the Bride” moment, featuring Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin in wedding dresses in a new sneak peek released Monday.

The trio can be seen running towards the courtroom, before a security guard stops them and asks if they have an appointment.

“It’s my wedding, madam,” Mabel replied.

“And you guys are like both of his fathers?” the guard asks.

“That’s right, we’re the father of the bride,” Charles replies, to which Oliver adds “Oh, that’s fun.”

“So did you find a groom there?” The guard questions, to which Mabel says, “Why is there always a groom?”

The guard wishes the three “very, very good luck” before they pass him by.

The clip comes after Gomez and Martin teased their look via social media in March.

Martin posted a photo on X of himself and Gomez locking arms and captioned it: “Guess what just happened!”

The post was followed by a photo of Gomez and Short standing next to each other with the caption, “Turns out this happened too.”

In a separate post on Instagram at the time, Gomez shared a photo of herself in a wedding dress and big white shoes, holding a Coca-Cola in her hand. The caption read: “I don’t have a caption. “Just a regular day at work.”

Season 3 of the Hulu comedy finds Charles, Oliver and Mabel investigating a murder backstage at a Broadway show.

The season’s cast includes Paul Rudd, who plays Hollywood action star and murder victim Ben Glenroy, and Meryl Streep, who plays Loretta Durkin, an actress on Oliver’s show.

“Only Murders in the Building” is produced and written by Martin and John Hoffman (“Grace & Frankie,” “Looking”) with Short, Gomez, “This Is Us” creator Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. Is the executive producer. The series is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
