Mbappe talks about dispute with Luis Enrique
Kylian Mbappe wanted to speak after the duel that took PSG straight to the Champions League quarter-finals and did so to settle any differences, especially with Luis Enrique. After the commotion after the duel in Monaco, the French star wanted to show up and solve any problem with his coach.
“I have a good, very good relationship with Luis Enrique. There are no problems with him, although people may think there are. I have a lot of problems, but the coach doesn’t have them,” said Mbappe after he was the protagonist of PSG’s victory at the Real Arena with a brace that ended the tie.
Beyond words, actions spoke for themselves. Luis Enrique and Mbappe himself hugged after the victory, showing that there were no problems between them.
Regarding the match, the Frenchman noted: “We are very happy, that was the goal. We wanted to qualify but also win to make the match a little calmer. That’s exactly what we did. We had a clear game plan. We managed to score quickly. We didn’t put ourselves in great difficulty. A little bit at the end, but we didn’t notice it.”
