Mel Gibson and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson team up to catch a killer. According to The Hollywood Reporter; the couple have started filming their new crime thriller«boneyard«.
The film comes from the independent producer colin bates; one of the names behind the movie halle berry kidnap and the indie zombie; Maggie’s arnold schwarzenegger.

Inspired by true events, «boneyard» is starring Mel Gibson; as an FBI special agent tracking down a serial killer nicknamed The Bone Collector.
Gibson must work alongside the Albuquerque police chief, played by 50 Cent; and an officer played by Brian Van Holt from Joe vs. Carol.
The officer and the chief confront each other amid the suspicion that the murderer may be one of the department’s own.
Directing Mel Gibson and 50 Cent in the film is independent filmmaker Asif Akbar; best known for the action thriller Michael Jai White and Mickey Rourke from 2022 Commando. Colin Bates is producing the film alongside the film’s co-writer; Vincent McDaniel. Hank Byrd and Koji Steven Sakai wrote the script with Akbar and McDaniel.
Boneyard is the next indie in line for Mel Gibson; who has spent much of the last few years producing low budget action and crime food.
He appeared in six films in 2022 alone, including a role opposite Mark Wahlberg in the inspirational tale Father Stu. This year; Gibson will go to streaming television with her starring role in the spin-off Peacock’s John Wick, The Continental.
The Continental seeks to expand the story
Set in the city of NY from the 1970s; The Continental seeks to expand the backstory of Winston, the owner of the Continental Hotel, played by Ian McShane in the John Wick movies; as he rises to power in the underworld of assassins. Colin Woodell will play the younger version of Winston alongside Mel Gibson in the three-part miniseries.
The Continental it will also elaborate on the lore of the John Wick universe; introducing a host of new characters. Mel Gibson plays a man named Cormac; but few details are known about his role. The series will premiere on September 22, 2023.
Beyond The Continental, Mel Gibson to Star in Black Southern Thriller Desperation Road; the crime thriller Informant and a mystery fantasy called Boys of Summer. That movie follows a group of teenagers in 1977 They recruit a retired detective to help them stop a supernatural force threatening their town.

It is also rumored that Mel Gibson will return to his role as Riggs in Lethal Weapon 5. The latest installment of the Lethal Weapon franchise launched in 1998; and was succeeded by a television reboot in 2016.
50 Cent has been a mainstay in the hit series of StarzPower. He is also executive producer of the series, several spin-offs and the new show Starz BMF. 50 Cent will join Sylvester Stallone; Jason Statham, Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren and more in The Expendables 4; which will be released this year.
Mel Gibson has mounted a comeback, extending and evolving his career through years of controversy. boneyard it will serve as another entry in the actor’s continued success as he consistently works on indies and blockbusters alike.
