The remembered actress decided to get away from the noise of the city and open the doors to nature, which is why during a live broadcast she told her more than 150,000 followers about the change she was forced to make after the pandemic.
Melissa has moved from a property in the hectic city of Los Angeles, to live the country life outside of the New York Catskills, where she has a vegetable garden and chicken coop.
The actress confessed that it was about returning to a space where she had felt comfortable as a child, referring to the recordings she had during her childhood with the Ingalls family series: “I am returning to my love for the outdoors, which I had already felt as a child, becauseit was a great adventure to be outside and play while working on set. I loved it because there were animals everywhere, there were always children and many games that we could play”

The actress, who moved in with her husband, Timothy Busfield, reveals that life in the country stirs feelings in her that she has never felt before: “Now cultivating my garden, taking care of my chickens and just feeling the earth and seeing our food grow every day from the ground, it’s wonderful. In addition to changing her lifestyle, Melissa also said goodbye to touch-ups and plastic surgeries, claiming that she now lives without meeting the expectations that a media person usually has “This is me now: no hair dye, no fillers, no implants, no botox. I just take care of myself and try to eat the best I can, drink a lot of water and thanks to that I am learning to enjoy myself”
