Metaphor ReFantazio Reveals New Details of Its Locations and Introduces a New Ally
Studio Zero’s Katsura Hashino takes a fresh look at Metaphor: ReFantazio’s most iconic locations that we’ve never seen before.
Many people dream of opening Man 6 at Tokyo Game Show 2024. That’s fine, but they shouldn’t lose sight of the promising game that’s coming out on October 11th this year and that is in development by Studio Zeroconsisting of former Persona creators.
Studio Zero is an internal division of Atlus led by Katsura Hashino (director of Persona 3 and Persona 4), who has been doing his best to surprise us with his new game.
This is how it will happen Metaphor: ReFantasioA fantasy JRPG starring a young prince who, along with the fairy Gallica and other characters, will fight to reclaim the throne that rightfully belongs to him.
The game’s layout is very similar to Persona or Shin Megami Tensei, although it has a different theme and a very specific art style. Here we will not have school elements, but there will be many dungeons full of dangers.
Director Katsura Hashino revealed new details about Metaphor: ReFantazio in Exclusive ATLUS transmissionthe next release of which will take place in the fall of 2024.

This is the strange world of Metaphor
In a recent broadcast, which you can see just above these lines, Katsura Hashino said: series of locations from the strange world of JRPGs that help us get an idea of what awaits us in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
From small towns to beautiful islands that pass through endless labyrinths or nightmare places, for example worm’s belly (in true Shin Megami Tensei style).
He was also presented Yufa, a new ally which we can recruit in the adventure. They promise to reveal more details about their abilities and weight in the story.
Ahead of the launch, the creators of Metaphor: ReFantazio More details will be revealed in a future exclusive issue of ATLUS.Hasino himself confirmed.
Other details we already know about the JRPG from Atlus and Studio Zero are that there will be NO romance within the realism framework, and it will not be possible to see all of the game’s dungeons in one game.
Metaphor: ReFantazio will hit stores October 11, 2024available in PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam)Tokyo Game Show attendees will be able to enjoy a demo version that may later be made available to everyone.
