Microids will publish a remake of Little Big Adventure: Twinsen’s Quest in the fall

Microids has confirmed that it will be the publisher responsible for publishing the Little Big Adventure remake.

The team (2.21) has been working since 2021 to bring back Adeline Software’s ’90s IP created by Frédéric Raynal (Alone in the Dark).

They originally planned a reboot with an origin story for the main character, and then planned a remaster of the two Little Big Adventure parts before deciding to remake the first part.

The story of a planet with two suns that falls under the control of a scientist after he invents technologies such as teleportation. Twinsen, our protagonist, becomes a fugitive who will try to join the rebels to overthrow the tyrant.

In December, the studio said it had found a publisher, but they wanted to wait until they had more material ready to produce a higher-quality trailer before confirming its identity.

The remake will feature new art direction, modernized gameplay (including gameplay elements from the sequel), and a new soundtrack by Philippe Vachey, the original game’s composer.

Little Big Adventure: Twinsen’s Quest will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Meridiem will distribute the physical edition in Spain for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
