Microsoft is announcing three new Xbox series for 2024. One of them is rumored to be the Xbox Series.

Right at the end of its big event this year – Xbox Showcase 2024 – Microsoft announced the release of three new consoles. This is not news to us, as during the very long FTC lawsuit over Microsoft’s Activision-Blizzard-King purchase, information about the existence of the new Xbox was leaked.

Its appearance was very different from the consoles that were already on the market, but everything pointed to minor improvements in some aspects, the same power as the Xbox Series X and the feature that it would be a console exclusively for digital games .

Well, the form factor doesn’t filter, but the rest of the description seems accurate. Here we can see three “new” Xbox Series:

On the one hand, we have the Xbox Series X, the same as the current one, but in a new color called “Galaxy Black” and with a 2TB SSD. This is a significant improvement considering how much games currently take up and that our model so far only had 1 TB.

As for the new Xbox Series S, in addition to the debut of a new white tone, we also see that the storage capacity has been doubled. In this version it was even more important and will now have 1 TB. Finally, the highlight is the new Xbox Series X All Digital in white with storage…weird.

Cause? According to Microsoft’s description, it will have 1TB of storage. Considering that 1TB may no longer be enough for some players and that they have expanded the storage in the model we’ve had so far, this is a somewhat confusing decision.

However, three new Xboxes will arrive later this year and prices will be as follows:

• Xbox Series X All Digital – US$449.99 or €499.99.
• Xbox Series X Galaxy Black – US$599.99 or €649.99.
• Xbox Series S Robot White – US$349.99 or €349.99

They will be able to be reserved soon and there will be news on regional pricing, although in markets like Europe they may find it easiest to keep the ones that have already been announced.
