Microsoft releases Copilot update with new AI features that will change the experience
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) will release an update to its artificial intelligence (AI) assistant. Co-pilotwhich will include new voice and vision capabilities. This trailer aims to highlight the benefits of Microsoft’s significant investment in artificial intelligence.
What’s happened
According to Bloomberg Line, Copilot will now be able to read news summaries to users using a feature called Co-pilot Daly and ultimately offer personalized reminders. During the preview stage Co-pilot’s vision will allow users to ask questions about text and images online, suggesting, for example, options for decorating an apartment.
The update will be available on iOS, Android, Windows and the web, and will also include a version for WhatsApp. To use the machine vision tool, customers must provide consent. At this initial stage, it is tested on a limited number of popular websites to collect data and ensure security.
Microsoft guarantees that the data will not be stored or used for training, and the tool will not work with sensitive or paid content. While Microsoft is leading the way in consumer AI with its investments in OpenAIfaces competition from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) and Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL).
