MLB Red Sox Trevor Story surgery off season start
The Boston Red Sox suffered a severe ‘blow’ since on this day they announced that Trevor Story has had to undergo surgery that what will be left out of the start of the Season 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB). The shortstop underwent surgery to attend to a situation in his right elbow.
MassLive.com journalist Chris Cotillo and later the Boston Red Sox reported that Trevor Story underwent surgery for a procedure on the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow, which was successful.
Although the shortstop did not undergo Tommy John surgery, this situation has caused him to miss the start and the first months of the 2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) Season.
Chaim Bloom, manager of the Red Sox, would be close to speaking with the press to inform the time that Story would be out of activity.
Trevor Story saw action in just 94 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball Season. In them he managed to get a batting average of .238, as well as 16 home runs and 66 RBIs for the Boston Red Sox.
