National Lottery Leaves €4.2 Million in Leon

Luck is back in the province of Leon, and this time in style. The first prize of the National Lottery went to a number that was completely sold out in the city of Leon.

The city of Sahagún won the first prize in the lottery this Saturday, July 27, under number 44143. Each ticket, which is worth six euros, has a prize of 60,000 euros. The draw raised 4.2 million euros thanks to the sale of 70 tenths of the first prize, all sold out in Sahagún.

“It’s a huge joy, and I can’t believe it,” Sheila Pinto, one of the administration’s employees, told the publication. Giving away millions of dollars in happiness is always an illusion for the employees or owners of the administrations, but when the prize stays in the region and falls among the “lifelong” neighbors, it is even greater.

Great prizes in Sahagun
