National Public Health Day 2023 concludes with comprehensive services for disease prevention

-Clinical breast examination, general consultation, vaccination, reproductive health, traditional medicine, among others, were part of the services provided at the end of the day

City of Puebla, Pue.- The current government of Sergio Salomon, through the Ministry of Health, concluded with the second National Public Health Day 2023, with services focused on promoting the prevention and care of diseases, whose motto is “Healthy Communities”. Is. “Stronger Communities” was intended to provide top-level care to reduce the risk of life-threatening conditions.

During the closing, the head of the agency, Araceli Soria Córdoba, explained that Puebla was part of this National Health Day as a complementary strategy to the permanent services already in place, with the aim of carrying out intensive, comprehensive and intercultural promotional actions. Prevention and health education that improves the quality of life of the people of Puebla.

In this last service fair, the people of Puebla gathered were given access to clinical breast examinations, general counseling, vaccinations, reproductive health, care for non-communicable diseases, traditional medicine, health promotion, healthy lifestyle, processing of the National Health Card and HIV and detection of diseases such as syphilis.

However, from last November 6, other services such as screening, oral health, care during pregnancy, breast cancer prevention, violence against women etc. stopped.

With these types of actions, the Government of Puebla reaffirms its commitment to bringing health services closer to the people of Puebla so that they can improve their quality of life and reduce the risk of diseases.
