A new competitive gaming league has been launched led by some of the world’s biggest creators including MisterBeast, iShowspeed and Bella Porch. Here’s everything we know.

Despite e-sports and organizations struggling financially for years, the e-sports and content creator landscape has continued to flourish in terms of viewership and fan numbers.

Tech company eFuse is looking to bridge this gap in a big way by launching a new competitive league that “puts creators and their fans at the center of everything.”

Which creators are part of the Creator League?

The first Creator League season is going to feature 8 creator-managed teams that will compete against each other in a variety of sports over a season that will last for 10 months.

All producers involved will be actively managing their respective teams. However, when teams compete against each other by playing different video games they will not have to actually play as part of teams.

How can fans join the Creator League?

Announced by MrBeast himself via his video on YouTube, fans will be able to purchase a ‘Community Pass’ for a price of $19.99, where they can choose which creator team they want to support.

MisterBeast’s in partnership with Feastables, if fans purchase the Community Pass first 9 SeptemberThey are able to receive a free box of Festables.

This pass will allow fans to be able to choose their team’s roster and make strategic decisions by voting on players within their chosen creator community.

Community Pass holders will also be able to compete to play for your chosen creator’s team during the season, such as through the first $50K three-day Open Qualifier September 8 -10.

What is the schedule of Creator League Season 1?

  • $50k Open Qualifier (September 8 – 10) – The three-day qualifier welcomes all interested players to compete for $50k and a spot on their favorite creator’s team through 3v3 zero build Fortnite play.
  • Creator League Show Launch (September 13) – The one-hour live show will feature team drafts and live team voting to arrive at initial strategic decisions
  • League Launch (19 September) – The League’s first competitive event featuring Fortnite
  • $200k 1st Split Final (3 – 5 October) – Fortnite splits a playoff and finals with guaranteed payouts for all competitors, including fans who make teams

How long will the Creator League season last?

The first season which is scheduled to be 10 months long will consist of 4 divisions as outlined below:

  • Partition 1: 8 September – 5 October
  • Partition 2: 20 October – 24 November
  • Partition 3: 12 January – 8 February,
  • Partition 4: 23 February – 21 March
