New Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7, technical data sheet with characteristics and price

Xiaomi has just unveiled its budget tablet, which is slated for release after mid-2024. Redmi Pad SE 8.7a device with an enviable price-quality ratio, as its cost is less than 130 euros.

This is a new budget tablet from Xiaomi.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7, as the name suggests, is an 8.7-inch tablet. Its resolution is quite reasonable at 1340 x 800 pixels, although it has a 1340 x 800 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which gives it some joy. The maximum brightness is 800 nits and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and flicker-free technology.

Its processor is the modest Helio G85 (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 processor) from MediaTek, complemented by 4GB of RAM and versions with up to 128GB of eMMC internal memory. It can be expanded with microSD cards up to 1TB. In terms of connectivity, we have a 4G version and a Wi-Fi version.

Everything is powered by a 6,650mAh battery with 18W charging. The Android version used is 14, based on HyperOS. So its software is as up-to-date as any member of the Redmi tablet family.
