Rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about her body insecurities in a candid interview about body positivity.

Minaj, who recently had breast-reduction surgery, talked about her past desires to get a bigger butt.
“I wanted a bigger butt, and now I look back and realize how stupid that was. So – love your curves, and love your non-curves. There is nothing wrong in this.
“I have a lot of time to understand myself. The idea of accepting what you can’t change – it never occurred to me before. now I understand,”
Minaj also explained that after giving birth to her son, she felt pressure to get back into shape quickly and linked this to the difficulties of motherhood.
“There are questions you can’t just Google about. Every day a mother has to wake up and be a supermom, no matter what circumstances she faces.”
The star explained how she has come to terms with not being able to manage her own expectations of life and controlling all aspects.

“For me the idea of accepting what you can’t change – it never occurred to me before. You want to control everything, but that’s the easiest way to become unhappy.
“So now, if I find myself trying to control it all, I try to remember what’s really important. I look at my son’s face, and my whole soul lights up. “They have no idea how stressful it has been for me to be a mother and an artist.”
Speaking about her Vogue collaboration on Instagram, Minaj expressed her gratitude to everyone who made it possible.
