Nintendo has two big games coming to Switch after March 2025
It was a few weeks ago that Nintendo confirmed that it was already working on its new console, which it would announce before the end of the fiscal year (March 2025). However, it looks like the company will continue to support the Switch beyond that date and is already developing two great games for it.
As you probably know, Nintendo had to pull the plug on the Wii U earlier than planned and focus its efforts on the Switch. Because of this, the generational change seemed very abrupt at that time, and fortunately, despite the risk, everything went well.
Now the big N wants to take it slow and will wait until the last moment to announce its new hardware, although a new rumor claims it won’t force them to leave the hybrid behind.
According to PH Brasil, which was the first to point out that the new platform’s release has been delayed until 2025, the home of Mario Bros. There are 2 re-releases planned for the Nintendo Switch, which will be released after March 2025 and possibly on the day that the Switch 2 already goes on sale.
Which games will be re-released for Nintendo Switch?
All indications are that one was originally released for the GameCube and the other is a classic Nintendo 3DS title, both of which are getting a new version that’s sure to turn heads.
However, the source of this rumor assured that these projects will not be announced at the Nintendo Direct in June of next year, so hybrid users will have to wait until the end of the year or a little longer to find out about them.

It’s worth noting that with these actions, Nintendo will confirm its intention to continue supporting the Switch even though its successor is available, something similar to what Sony did with the PlayStation 4 when the PlayStation 5 arrived.
The bad news is that it is not yet known which games have been chosen for remake or remaster, although the community is already mentioning some names such as Kid Icarus: Uprising and, of course, HD versions The Legend of Zelda: Wind Rider And The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
