Nintendo launches Nintendo Music, Spotify for gamers
Nintendo has just announced a new mobile app called Nintendo Music, exclusively for Switch Online subscribers. Starting today, the application is available on iOS and Android. With this app, users can access a variety of classic Nintendo video game tunes spanning several decades, including iconic games such as Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda.
A distinctive feature of the new application is Curated playlists dedicated to gamesmoments, moods or characters, although users also have the ability to create their own lists.
Additionally, Nintendo Music allows you to online broadcast, for example, downloading a song to listen to them offline. An interesting aspect of the app is the spoiler feature, which allows you to filter hints that may reveal details of games that the user has not yet played or completed. For those looking for the Hyrule soundscape, the app also offers the ability to repeat songs or extend certain tracks to 15, 30, or 60 minutes for uninterrupted listening.
This news will appear soon following other surprise Nintendo announcementsincluding the release of an alarm clock and a mystery MMO that is currently in testing.
