Number 1 turns black during the broadcast of Telediario 2
Another Saturday Igor Gomez headed “Telediario 2 Fin de Semana” from La 1 RTVE. Ten minutes into the news and while the video was broadcast, the channel went dark for a few seconds until a continuity loop came in with the channel’s logo and melody.
Many social media users commented on the public broadcaster’s situation, wondering what was going on. In this 24 hour channelwhich simultaneously broadcast “Telediario 2 Fin de Semana”, the presenter and part of the technical team could be seen trying to solve problems.
After this break, which lasted several minutes, the program returned to La-1 and its presenter gave the audience the appropriate explanation: “Now yes, Restoring news broadcast. “We apologize, but we were forced to take this break to ensure the quality of the rest of the news broadcast.”
