OFFICIAL! A judge demands that LaLiga allow Barça to register Gavi

The commercial court number 10 of Barcelona obliges LaLIga to accept the registration of Gavi as a player of the first team of FC Barcelona. This has been reported by the Spanish press this Tuesday, and a few minutes later the Barça club itself has issued an official statement, pronouncing on the matter of this ruling in relation to the new contract of the footballer culé.

Barça appealed to the courts after the employer’s refusal to receive Gavi’s new agreement. The club also states that “the resolution recognizes the dominant position of the LFP and considers that there is a principle of legitimacy in the claim of FC BARCELONA and thatthat the non-registration of the player before the window closes would imply his freedom and, therefore, very serious and irreparable damage to FC BARCELONA.

To date, the employers’ association chaired by Javier Tebas has blocked the registration of new contracts for players like Gavi and Ronald Araújo. In addition to these two cases, he has also communicated that he will not accept the renewals of other footballers such as Balde, Iñaki Peña and more recently Marcos Alonso, always relying on the fact that Barça exceeds the financial ‘fair play’.
