OFFICIAL: Alex Palou will take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans

No fewer than 23 hypercars are registered for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, suggesting it will be the best event in Le Mans history, or at least in the last 30 years. The list includes 16 LMP2 cars, the rest are LMGT3 cars.

ACO today released the official list of cars registered for the French tests, in which the main surprise may remain Toyota, which is numerically inferior to its opponents.

Six Porsches, three Ferraris, three Cadillacs, two Toyotas, two Alpines, two BMWs, two Peugeots, two Lamborghinis and one Isotta Fraschini. Emotionally I miss Glickenhaus.

There are 69 riders in the top category! Not surprisingly, there are still a few fields left to fill out.

In addition to Palu, other Spaniards will be there: Miguel Molina with the official Ferrari number 50, as well as Antonio Fuoco and Nicklas Nielsen.

Albert Costa, last year’s LMP2 winner, returns to the Nielsen team, but his team-mates have not been announced. Lorenzo Fluxa will also compete in LMP2 for Cool Racing alongside Mathieu Jacobsen and Ritomo Miyata.

And in GT we will have Alex Riberas and Dani Juncadella, the former with a Heart of Racing Aston Martin and the latter with an official Corvette treated by TF Sport.
