Considering:
The first and priority objective of health policies is to ensure access to health services of all people living in the nation, understood as the set of resources and actions of promotional, preventive, care and rehabilitative nature, whether they are public, state , non-state or private.
Within the framework of the National Health Quality Plan 2021-2024, approved by Resolution of this Health Portfolio No. 2546/21, it is recognized that quality is an essential and indispensable condition for the Argentine health system and understands that its achievement is a cultural change and Relating to the empowerment of all systems.
The first of the strategic lines described in the said plan is management and governance in quality and patient safety to normalize quality standards and reduce disparities in the health system.
In turn, the plan proposes to implement sustainable processes and establish strategies for the health team that promote quality and safety in work management, training and permanent education in health and protect the health of workers and .
The National Health Quality Plan 2021-2024 aims at the implementation of the National Medical Care Quality Assurance Program (PNGCAM) created by the Resolution of the then Secretary of Health No. 432/92, ratified by Decree No. °178/2024. 17, through which the production and development of quality equipment and tools is established as part of its working style.
The objectives of the above program include design, training, awareness, research and management of tools for improvement in establishments throughout the country.
Both the consensus and clinical practice guidelines have been prepared along the lines of action for the generation of quality tools of the above programme, as a tool for standardization of care processes based on evidence aimed at eliminating inappropriate clinical Variability has to be reduced.
Endometriosis is a common, chronic gynecological condition/disease that mostly affects people of reproductive age.
The major symptoms of endometriosis, especially chronic pain, but also infertility, affect not only those suffering from it, but also their family and social environment, so the disease has an impact on the quality of life, causing daily is influenced. social, work, educational and sexual lives, putting their mental health and emotional well-being at risk.
Given the existence of chronic and recurrent symptoms and the potential impact on the quality of life of those suffering from it, there is a critical need to optimize early diagnosis, clinical management and comprehensive care of this disease.
The Clinical Practice Guide on “Initial Approach to Endometriosis” is a tool to standardize care processes and, therefore, to guide health professionals and patients in making the most appropriate decisions about care, in order to improve the quality of health services. and making evidence-based recommendations that take into account the priorities and values of those affected.
Representatives of the following scientific societies and patient associations participated in the preparation of this document: Argentine Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Societies (FASGO), Argentine Society of Endometriosis (SAE), Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Buenos Aires (SOGIBA), Société Buenos Aires Dependent on the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ayres Province (SOGBA), the Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Province of Córdoba (SOGC), the Argentine Federation of General Medicine (FAMG), the Argentine Society of Radiology (SAR), the Research Institute Biological of the National University of San Luis and the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (IMIBIO-SL and UNSL-CONICET), CONICET Institute of Biology and Experimental Medicine Foundation, Civil Association of Argentine Patients with Endometriosis (PAE), ENDOHERMANAS (Civil Association Endohermanas, self-organized organization of people with endometriosis Women), Andolazos San Luis, Civil Association Viviendo – Salta, Coordinator of the Endometriosis Program of the Province of Tucumán, Directorate of Primary Health Care South Region – Tierra del Fuego Province, Reference of Sexual, Reproductive Health and Diversity of the Province of Santa Fe, Formosa Province of the Ministry of Human Development, representative of the Province of Misiones, referral to the Directorate of Sexual Health and Responsible Reproduction and Primary Health Care of this Ministry.
This measure does not reflect budgetary expenditure for this health portfolio.
The National Directorate of Sexual and Reproductive Health and the Health Access Secretariat have intervened within their jurisdiction and agreed to this measure.
That the Under Secretary for Quality, Regulation and Supervision and the Secretary for Quality have intervened in their capacity and supported the approval of the above document and its inclusion in the National Program for Quality Assurance of Medical Care.
The General Directorate of Legal Affairs has intervened within its jurisdiction.
This measure is adopted in the exercise of the powers conferred by Article 103 of the National Constitution and Article 23 of Ministry Law No. 22,520, its amendments and supplements.

Resolution:
Article 1.- The Clinical Practice Guide for “Initial Approach to Endometriosis” is approved, which is an integral part of this resolution in the form of an annex (IF-2023- 128708425-APN-DNCSSYRS#MS).
Article 2.- The clinical practice guide for “Initial approach to endometriosis”, approved by the previous article, is included in the National Program for Quality Assurance of Medical Care.
Article 3.- The document approved by Article 1 of this measure must be circulated through the National Directorate of Quality in Health Services and Health Regulation to ensure its maximum knowledge and application within the framework of the Programme. National Health Care Quality Assurance
Article 4.- Communicate, publish, give and store it to the National Directorate of Official Registration.
