One of the next backwards compatible games coming to PS Plus has been leaked
An email sent by Sony PlayStation mentions a backwards compatible game that is NOT on the service, implying it may be coming sooner rather than later.
When it comes to leaks, it’s important to keep your feet on the ground… unless it’s from an official source. All signs point to that being the case with an upcoming backwards compatible game coming to PS Plus soon.
You already know that PS Plus Premium, Sony’s most advanced tier of service, Get new classic games for PS1, PSP, PS2 or even PS3 every month (in the future)adapted for current consoles PS5 and PS4.
So PlayStation players can enjoy classics like Medieval, Star Wars: The Clone Wars or Sly Cooper on their consoles, with rewind functions, quick save and other new features..
In mid-August, once we know about free PS Plus games, Sony will release news about the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium catalogs. And it seems that One of the games that will be on the said list has already leaked online..
The source is an email allegedly sent by Sony, in which they list some of the games available on PS Plus in July 2024.
Games like Remnant 2, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion or Mount & Blade: Bannerlord are mentioned. The Summoner’s name appears in the backwards compatibility section, Joan of Arc… and Clank: Secret Agent.
Clank Spin-Off Coming to PS Plus
This is the only game of all those mentioned in the letter that It’s NOT available on PS Plus Premium, at least not yet.. And it doesn’t appear in Sony’s official July statements.
This may be a mistake.but honestly, it seems appropriate for a game like Clank: Secret Agent (originally released for PSP in 2008) to join the subscription.
The email was leaked to Radek’s Twitter/X account, which posted a screenshot of the aforementioned official Sony message, which reads as follows:
”PS Plus Premium subscribers can enjoy our classic games Summoner, Secret Agent Clank, Jeanne d’Arc, and Job Simulator on PS VR2.”.
Considering The July selection has already been confirmed.looks like a classic Ratchet & Clank spin-off may arrive in mid-Augustwhen will the next batch be announced.
