OnePlus has unveiled its new Nord 4 5G mobile phone, a mid-range model with a great design and interesting new features, with which the company intends to expand its market share in the line of mobile phones that are currently the most sold and whose prices are below 500 euros.
The new mobile phone, which belongs to the budget Nord family, stands out in various aspects, although in this case the strong points, in addition to its design and features, will be the numerous updates that OnePlus guarantees and which reach six years, in addition to the ecosystem of products that come with the new mobile phone.
The new member of the OnePlus Nord family, weighing 200 grams and measuring just 7.99 mm thick, is made from a single piece of machined aluminum, making it a differentiator from other mobile phones on the market.
Advances such as the integration of 5G antennas that are 50% more compact and smaller than before, as well as an updated motherboard, are just some of the advances that have allowed the design to be refined and used on the back of the mobile phone. Inside is the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chip, which OnePlus claims can handle any task, even running resource-intensive games, thanks to a 65% faster CPU and 130% faster GPU than the previous generation model.
Other notable new features include an exceptional 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, a large 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and a camera setup with a 50MP Sony sensor for the main one, an 8MP wide-angle one, and a 16MP front-facing one for selfies.
The OnePlus Nord 4 comes with Oxygen OS 14.1 on Android 14 and will receive four OS updates and six years of security updates, which is the brand’s most extensive support package. Additionally, OnePlus guarantees four years of battery life in good condition, as fast and smooth as if it were the first day of use. It is sold in three different finishes: Obsidian Midnight, Oasis Green, and Mercurial Silver.
They feature IP55 water and dust resistance and support dual connectivity, so you can easily connect them to different devices and use them without interruption. Its battery life is 11 hours, extendable to 44 hours with the included case.
The OnePlus Watch 2R features dual-frequency GPS for greater location tracking accuracy, receiving an L5 GPS signal in addition to the L1 signal. It comes in two different colors: forest green and dark gray, with a single 47mm watch face, IP68 rating, and 5ATM water resistance.
Completing the ecosystem of products launched around the new Nord 4 5G mobile phone is the OnePlus Pad 2 tablet, the brand’s most advanced tablet. The company aimed to offer a high-tech and high-performance device with an exceptional 12.1-inch AMOLED screen, 3K resolution and a maximum brightness of 900 nits for uninterrupted outdoor use.
It also stands out with six speakers strategically placed on the sides to ensure immersive sound, as well as a 9510 mAh battery with a fast charging mode that allows you to charge it to one hundred percent of its capacity in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
It comes with a Stylo 2 digital pen with over 16,000 different pressure levels and a OnePlus Smart Keyboard case with a magnetic mount that allows for flexible use while handling it like a laptop.
