After the awards come the parties. As every year, and after having concluded the delivery of the Academy awards, the famous gathered at one of the exclusive parties that took place in Hollywood and its surroundings, such as the classic Vanity Fair party, the celebration organized by Elton John or The Governors Ball, which in a way is the official party and in which every year a special dinner is offered whose menu is created by the renowned Austrian chef Wolfgang Puck and Erik Klein.
As every year, the Vanity Fair party was once again a benchmark among celebrities and on this occasion Salma Hayek and her daughter Valentina Pinault met, who publicly debuted at the Oscar festivities (prior to this party they were seen at The Governors Ball party with Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro, (as well as Olmo and Bu Cuarón, sons of the former). The Mexican was joined by other celebrities such as the Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actress for Everything in everywhere at the same time, Michelle Yeoh, Oscar-nominated Cuban actress Ana de Armas, as well as Joe Jonas and his wife Sophie Turner.
They also dazzled with their outfits Eva Longoria, who wore a black dress with transparencies, Kendal Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cara DeLevigne, Hunter Schafer (who covered her breasts with a white feather), Halle Bailey, Cardi B, Ricky Martin, Emily Ratajkowski, Austin Butler, Zoe Saldana, Sharon Stone, Becky G, Janelle Monae, and activist Malala Yousafzai, among many others.
At The Governors Ball party, which is held immediately after the Oscar ceremony, the winners of the golden statuettes attended, since that is where each piece won is placed with the plaque that indicates the name of the winner, the category and work for which you were recognized.
It was at that party where Guillermo del Toro met his friend and colleague Alfonso Cuarón, who was also nominated for the short Le Pupille, but did not win, as well as Salma Hayek, who accompanied and celebrated her compatriots. There was also a smiling Jamie Lee Curtis, winner of the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, as well as her Malaysian friend Michelle Yeoh, winner of Best Actress, both for Everything Everywhere at the same time.
Ke Huy Quan, a Vietnamese actor who won Best Supporting Actor for Everything Everywhere at the Same Time, walked through the party — where they served up tacos, tequila, wagyu beef, Oscar-shaped smoked salmon, chocolates in the shape of the statuette bream and Godfather-style chocolate cigars—and took photos with various actors, including Mexican Tenoch Huerta. Another Mexican who attended the party was Diego Calva, the protagonist of Babylon, as well as the Chilean actor Pedro Pascal, the protagonist of The Last of Us and The Mandalorian, two of the most successful series.
Others who attended The Governor’s Ball included Florence Pugh, Stephanie Hsu, Michelle Eilliams, Nicole Kidman, Rihanna, Angela Basset, Halle Berry, Lady Gaga and Cate Blanchett.
Celebrities such as Heidi Klum, who opted for a yellow dress with feathers (being the subject of memes), Hilary Duff, Donatella Versace, Brook Shields, Emma Watson and the Mexican singer Paulina Rubio attended the party organized by the British singer Elton John, who with this party raised nine million dollars, which he allocates to his foundation to help people with AIDS.
The vast majority of the team from Everything Everywhere at the Same Time, a film that won seven Oscars, including Best Picture, after passing through The Governor’s Ball party, attended the party organized by the independent production company A24 which was the same one that financed it.
Other celebrities gathered at other gatherings, such as the Warner Bros. or Gucci private party.
