Overwatch 2 recently showed off some of the features coming to its game in the coming months at the annual Blizzcon.
With heroes like Venture being teased for Season 10, Roadhog’s major rework is already receiving more tweaks from Blizzard.
This is what we know.
Overwatch 2 Patch Notes for November 17: Roadhog Changes and More
While Blizzcon 2023 has passed, players were able to check out Roadhog’s new overhaul, which has elevated the character once again to the top of the tanking ladder.
However, his heals suffered during this patch and Blizzard realized this immediately and made the following adjustments to Roadhog.
Developer Comments: We’re tweaking a few things with the new Take a Break, as our initial landing spot was slightly conservative. These adjustments should give Roadhog increased healing output and moment-to-moment damage resistance. While we’re shortening the maximum duration, this gives Roadhog a faster heal and should alleviate some of the feelings players had about being stuck using Take a Breath for a large portion of their game.
Take a break
- Total healing increased from 450 to 500.
- Damage reduction increased from 30 to 40%.
- Maximum duration reduced from 3 to 2.5 seconds.
- Reload time reduced from 12 to 10 seconds.
We suspect it’s much needed, and this should make Roadhog more viable in teamfights, even with the new hotfix!
