At first glance, the D.Va appeared to pass through enemy Sigma’s barrier to activate his Self-Destruct ultimate and achieved a quadruple kill. However, a different angle shows that D.Va completely missed his ultimate ability. It turns out that D.Va was able to perform a quadruple kill thanks to the Call Mech skill, which activates automatically after the Self-Destruct skill.
Right after D.Va cast the Self Destruct ability, they ran to low ground, with the entire enemy team attacking the fuseless D.Va. On paper, the enemy team had a decent strategy, since D.Va is very vulnerable when he is outside of his robot. Unfortunately, they were all grouped together when they attacked D.Va, causing them to be crushed by D.Va’s Call Mech ability. An almost identical play occurred in 2022, where a D.Va player also scored a triple kill with the Call Mech ability.
