Padres close the door on Trevor Bauer

The dodgers announced last Friday that they had designated for assignment right-handed pitcher Trevor Bauer, who just served a 194-game suspension for violating the MLB-MLBPA Joint Policy on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse. The club has seven days to trade Bauer, and if he doesn’t trade him, he will be placed on probation. If neither team claims him, he will become a free agent.
One of the teams the right-handed starter has been linked to after being released from the Dodgers were the Parentswho according to San Diego Union-Tribune columnist Bryce Miller, they have closed the doors to Bauer. This kind of situation could be recurring for Bauer in his search to find a new team, since after a scandal like the one he starred in, it will be difficult for him to sign again.
Bauer, who turns 32 on Jan. 17, was the first player to appeal a suspension under the domestic violence policy. While it was reduced, it remains the longest suspension handed down under the MLB-MLBPA Joint Domestic Violence Policy, which was enacted in 2015.
