Pedro Saura reorganizes Correos management to try to return to profit

VALENCIA (EP). Board of Directors of Correos with Pedro Saura Leading the company as its new president, he approved a restructuring of its leadership with new appointments designed to usher in a new phase for the public company to deal with new challenges and return to profit.

One of Saura’s first acts as president of Correos was to meet with unions to achieve reconciliation and acknowledge his predecessor’s “blackout of information and negotiations” in order to restore the company’s economic position.

With this as a priority, management changes have now been approved so Olga Garcia assumes leadership of operations, Yolanda Horcajada Commercial Sector and Isabel Alcantarilla “Technology and Digital Transformation”.

Besides, Javier Monzo will take over the financial direction, Rafael Dominguez will undertake legal services and Jose Miguel Moreno Strategy, sustainable development and brand management. For its part, the General Secretariat and the Council will be called “General Secretariat and Public Policy” and will be headed by Francisco Ferrer.
