Police foiled Trump’s third assassination attempt
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported this Sunday that police have foiled the third assassination attempt against Donald Trump this election campaign in Coachella Valley, California.
Agents assigned to the former president’s rally on Saturday, October 12 were detained Wem Miller, 49 year old man A Las Vegas resident who illegally possessed a firearm, a loaded handgun and a high-capacity magazine.
An arrest was made at a roadblock without further incident.
The effort follows two previous attacks against Trump: in July, in Butler, Pennsylvania, and in September, in Palm Beach, Florida.
In the first attack, a young man died after Trump was shot and his ear was injured. In another, a man was arrested after fleeing when he was caught pointing a rifle at a golf course where the former president played.
