Although the Chairman of the Fed, Jerome Powell, has already warned that the increases will continue for much of 2023, the truth is that many are betting on a slowdown in the rate of increases, going from 50 to 25 basis pointsbecause the measures they have paid off and the inflation rate has come down. The goal of the Fed is reach two percent year-on-year; now, the rate stands at 6.5 percent in relation to last December, according to official figures.
