Prince Harry detailed the strong fight between his wife and Kate Middleton: Meghan Markle’s comment that offended William’s wife

The Duke of Sussex once referred to Kate Middleton as the “sister he never had.” However, in his new book “Spare”, Prince Harry offers a new version of the dispute between Meghan Markle41, and the now Princess of Wales, 40.

Middleton, who has always been very close to Prince Harry, has not come out of this controversial book that promises to once again shake the foundations of the Palace of Buckingham in a year marked by the coronation of the king Charles III.

In one of the chapters of his highly anticipated memoir “Spare”, Harry recalled a tense episode that happened in 2018, months before his wedding to Meghan Markle and that It marked the definitive break between the former American actress and Middleton.

Harry, second in line to the throne, acknowledged that in the 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey his wife did not tell everything about her fight with Kate Middleton.

While the former American actress claimed Middleton did it for crying over the girls’ dresses for their wedding, the 38-year-old Duke of Sussex wrote that her sister-in-law was also upset by a comment made by Markle.

Harry said the Princess of Wales took offense when his wife told Kate that she had “baby brain” due to hormones from her pregnancy with Prince Louis.

“Baby brain” refers to the “memory problems, poor concentration and distractibility” that women report during pregnancy and early childbearing, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Middleton gave birth to her third child, Prince Louis, a month before Harry and Markle’s wedding at St. George’s Chapel in London.

This comment made the then Duchess of Cambridge explode, creating a huge dispute between them. Behind this, Meghan was reprimanded for her boldness, something that offended her. According to Harry’s account, several people told his wife that she wasn’t close enough to Kate to make those kinds of comments.

During the Sussexes’ controversial interview with Winfrey, Markle did not mention the comment that offended Kate, however, she did address rumors that she had made Middleton cry before the wedding. She denied that she was like that and said that it was Kate who made her cry during one of her wedding rehearsals.

In those statements he referred to Kate being upset about something. Now, the reason for the anger of the then Duchess of Cambridge is known. “It made me cry, it hurt my feelings. It was a very difficult week and she was upset about something, but she took charge and apologized.”Markle told Oprah.

Instead of clearing up the whole thing, however, Prince Harry offered up some explosive new details.

She said Kate texted Meghan days before the wedding to say there was a problem with the bridesmaid dresses, specifically Princess Charlotte’s. He claims that Meghan tried to send Kate to the Palace tailor to have it fixed. According to Harry, Meghan found an hour to chat with Kate, who said that Charlotte’s dress was too big for her and that she had cried when she tried it on.

After the argument, Harry said he returned home to find Meghan sobbing on the kitchen floor, overcome with stress. He adds that Kate came to the house the next day with an apology card and flowers.

Meghan described the episode as a “turning point” in her relationship with Kate.

But the tension didn’t stop there: Harry also writes that he and Meghan were upset that Will and Kate switched place cards to rearrange their table at the royal wedding.

He says the Cambridges later insisted it wasn’t them, but that it had been another guest.

Furthermore, Harry reveals that William and Kate were upset when the Sussexes didn’t buy their family Easter presents.

When Meghan was introduced to royal life, Prince Harry wrote that there were signs of discord between his soon-to-be-bride and sister-in-law.

In his book, Harry details the day Meghan borrowed a lip gloss from Kate before her appearance at the first Royal Foundation summit in 2018. He writes that Kate was shocked but took it out of her bag and turned herself in.

Harry relates that Meg dabbed some glitter on her finger and dabbed it on her lips, before Kate made a “disgusted” face.
