Project Inspira – La Opinion de Málaga
INSPIRA is a project conceived to address the growing need to promote healthy lifestyles among young people in the face of modern challenges such as sedentary lifestyle, stress, anxiety, poor diet and increasing digital addiction. This initiative arose from the observation that despite the abundance of information about health and wellness, many students do not feel fully engaged or motivated to adopt a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives.
The main goal of the project is to empower students at our IES Guadaiza center by enabling them to become active participants in promoting positive change in our educational community through the storytelling of personal experiences and collective reflection. Inspira is focused on the following areas of activity: healthy eating, physical activity and sports, emotional intelligence, digital hygiene, prevention of addictive substances, mental health and emotional-sexual relationships.
INSPIRA strives to not only inform, but also transform, creating an emotional connection to the topics covered and promoting a sense of personal agency among young people to bring about positive change in their lives and the environment. This project represents a step forward in medical education by integrating student voice and experience as a central axis of a strategy for raising awareness and change.
The name “INSPIRA” captures in its acronym the essence of our mission: innovation and nutrition for personal health, relational intelligence and self-esteem. This acronym highlights our commitment to promoting a holistic approach to well-being, which ranges from mindful eating and physical activity to developing the emotional and social skills fundamental to the full personal and academic development of our youth.
Public ESO and high school students from San Pedro Alcántara are subject to advance reservations at the learning centers.
