Realme GT 6, here’s a tomato
Today we are talking about a very interesting middle-class device, presented recently by Oppo. By coincidence, the other day a new Realme smartphone appeared (we have already talked about this manufacturer in detail). This is the GT 6, which opens up a category known as “flagship killers”: middle class, which seek to remove high-end or flagship models from the race. Does this GT 6 achieve this? Let’s go step by step.
In the design section, it shows the traditional restraint and elegance of high-end models, and the camera module is enclosed in a “mirror” that distinguishes it from the rest of the body. Perhaps a matte tone would give it even more elegance., but this is a personal judgment, leaning towards soaking on mobile phones. Available in green and grey, it features a 6.78-inch screen with a Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and the ability to reach (first surprise) The brightness is 6000 nits, which few phones have. (regardless of the price) they get.
Beyond the typical, the truth is that the Realme GT 6 offers incredible specifications at a very reasonable price. Authentic mid range, high dress, for only 500 euros. Here we leave you with one of the year’s top candidates for best value for money mobile devices. And all this while being very energy efficient thanks to some software details, the battery and the use of artificial intelligence… Because yes, in some sections it includes artificial intelligence.
Pros: The screen has one of the most advanced protections available at the moment – Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. As for the “what a shame”, it is certified. IP65, one could aim for more to top the table..
One of the things where most mid-range phones fall short is the processor. Obviously, the price determines and, depending on the mobile phone, it can be 25% of the cost of the device, and here most manufacturers lean towards price. However, oh pleasant surprise, Realme has leaned towards Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the most advanced from Qualcomm today and the same as at the top of the range.
Added to this 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal memory. All that power is smoking hot, and Realme has equipped it with a dual vapor chamber and cooling system to combat heat. Which is barely noticeable in demanding tasks. And all this without losing the price for the user: we are talking about 549 euros.
Cameras? One front 32 MP, two 50 MP (main and tele) on the back panel, which adds up to a wide viewing angle of 8 MP. The positive thing is that the sensors (Sony) are among the most advanced from the Japanese manufacturer. The use of artificial intelligence in image processing is also a good sign. But (nothing is perfect) the lenses are not always there and in night mode this is noticeable. The portrait and landscape are wonderful. Optical stabilization is very interesting and is a step forward in this section.
In terms of battery and charging (one of the areas in which Realme has always been the benchmark), it has a 5500 mAh battery and fast charging (yes, for the included charger), which allows you to go from 0 to 50 in less than 10 minutes and full charging is achieved without even waiting half an hour. Realme’s guarantee on the battery is that it will last up to 1600 charging cycles while maintaining its performance.
Verdict: At the moment it is without a doubt middle class. As simple as that.
