Selena Gomez’s acting career spans five series and movies

Selena Gomez’s first appearance on the small screen was when she was ten years old, during 2002 in the television series “Barney and His Friends”, a children’s program with the purple dinosaur. Since then, the American has continued to work in various fields in and outside of audiovisual. In addition to music and acting, Gomez has also been a producer and businesswoman, with her own makeup brand called Rare Beauty.

In regards to his music career, the artist released three albums with his group Selena Gomez & the Scene during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. He later continued his career as a solo artist, releasing the album Stars Dance in 2013, followed by Revival. and Rare, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. Over the years he has collaborated with artists such as Raw Alejandro, DJ Snake, Camilo and Coldplay.

This Disney series, which premiered between 2007 and 2012, made the actress a better-known performer. Along with the same character from this series, he appeared in other television channel productions such as “Zack & Cody: Twins on Board” and two additional movies of the magician saga.

This independent film directed by Harmony Korine gave Gomez her break as a Disney Girl. The film is based on four college students during spring break. The project has a more adult outlook and also stars “High School Musical” star Vanessa Hudgens.
