Skillet singer John Cooper attacking Demi Lovato culture test ‘woke’ and entitled to enjoyment
A recent interview with Plugged In director Adam Holtz, John Cooper, and Grammy-nominated rock band leader and bassist Chrétien Skillet, part of his thoughts on contemporary issues, not least défis auxquels sont counterés les parents chrétiens et sont de vue sur la cultural “woke up”.
Cooper believes that the concept of culture is “woke”, which he decrees as a global vision of the world that determines points of view on sexuality or politics. Il souligne l’importance de comprendre la loi the moral spirit described in the Bible and its correspondence sur le monde que Dieu a créé.
The musician causes difficulties that make it difficult for Christian parents to evaluate the values of children and children in a culture that may advocate viewpoints contrary to the children’s knowledge. I encourage parents to engage in dialogue with their children and teach them explanations that reflect the moral principles found in the Bible.
In addition, Cooper expresses his point of view, unfavorable to aortement; in fact, he refers to the chanson Swine de la chanteuse by Demi Lovato, which he considers to promote the right to aortment. Il établit un parallel entre ceux qui soutiennent l’avortement et ceux qui qui dissent des action qu’il juge néfastes.
While acknowledging that these opinions are deeply personal, Cooper insists that they are intended to respond to haine rather than to provoke debate about what counts as a moral and just way of life consistent with his Christian beliefs.
Cooper promoted new books entitled Wimpy, Weak And Woke (que l’on peut traduire par ‘Mou, faible et Wake’), published on November 14, 2023.
Skillet’s latest album, Dominion, will be released in January 2022 via Atlantic Records.
