Social media is filled with evidence of the return of Apple Vision Pro
As if the comparison that Mark Zuckerberg made between the Vision Pro and his Meta Quest 3 wasn’t enough for Apple to say for extremely compelling reasons that its glasses are better, today social media was filled with messages from users saying that got my expensive $3,500 spatial computing glasses back.
But why today? Well, because this Wednesday marks the end of Apple’s 14-day window to return a product and be eligible for a full refund. The Apple Vision Pro went on sale on February 2nd, so the deadline to return them to the enthusiasts who submitted them on their launch day is Friday, February 16th.
Reviews we find in X by keywords “returning Apple Vision Pro” They are different, but they all agree on one thing: Apple Vision Pro is extremely inconvenient and quite heavy.
I returned my Apple Vision Pro and am convinced that spatial computing is the future.
But… it weighs too much to be used for more than an hour. Couldn’t justify the $4k tag. I’ll be back for version 2 or 3 when it gets lighter.$aapl

“I returned my Apple Vision Pro. I’m convinced that spatial computing is the future, but right now it’s too heavy to be used for more than an hour. I also can’t justify the $4,000 price tag. I’ll be back for version 2 or 3 when they get lighter,” says one review posted on X.
Some other comments describe complaints related to viewer technology, such as limited viewing angles or cameras having difficulty recognizing text on a cell phone.
Other complaints describe a lack of features that are almost impossible to think of in an Apple device, such as lack of integration with other Apple devices: “I should be able to unlock my cell phone by looking at it, or see its screen in high definition from my Vision Pro.” , another user account.
Will Vision Pro be Apple’s first failure under Tim Cook?
