Social Welfare launches a survey for the elaboration of the Strategic Plan of Social Services of Paiporta
The Department of Social Welfare of Paiporta has launched a citizen survey with the aim of testing the opinion of the Paiportinas and the Paiportinos for the development of the Department’s Strategic Plan for the coming years.
This document is mandatory in accordance with the program contract signed between the City Council and the Vice Presidency and Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies, a multi-year agreement with the Valencian government aligned with the new legislation on social services focused on meeting the minimum staff ratios by number of inhabitants, and to develop inclusion policies understood from a comprehensive care perspective and not as the simple distribution of financial aid.
The survey can be answered electronically until January 20, on the website paiporta.es/enquestaserveissocials, and also in physical format, through the forms distributed by all Paiporta homes and, also, available in municipal offices .
The Councilor for Social Welfare, Rafa Gadea, explained that “in order to design the strategy and work plan for the coming years, it is essential to know the perception that citizens have of the service we provide and, at the same time, to know what they expect from the department , what deficiencies they find and in what aspects they think we can improve ».
The Strategic Plan, Gadea continued, “has to adjust the needs perceived by the technical staff, but also the point of view of the users, as well as the new reality of the department, which currently has more than 20 people and it has multiplied by 7 since 2015.”
Among the questions in the survey there is room for general assessments and contributions, and more specific or access, such as whether the way to reach the services is known, or the degree of knowledge of the catalog of benefits that can be received in case of need. , to specific and general assessments of the Department.
Once the opinion of the public has been collected, the technical team of the Social Welfare department will incorporate the results into the document that will represent the Strategic Plan, which will be presented for joint review with the Vice-Presidency and Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies of the Generalitat Valenciana.
