The reason behind Zendaya’s diet change
In an interview with People magazine, Zendaya opened up about her decision to go vegetarian and how it has changed her life. The actress revealed that her love for animals was the main motivation behind her dietary choice. “My main reason for being a vegetarian is because I love animals, definitely NOT because I love vegetables,” she joked.
Zendaya explained that her decision to stop eating meat dates back to her childhood. When he was 11 years old, he passed a slaughterhouse on a road trip and was horrified to realize that he got his meat from places like it.
“I thought it was horrible, all those animals piled up there waiting to be killed. I couldn’t believe this is how I’ve been getting my meat!”he admitted.
Although the transition from meat to vegetables was not easy for Zendaya, the actress managed to adapt to her new diet and now enjoys a life without animal protein. “I don’t miss eating meat and I have an aversion to the taste,” she said.
