Suki Waterhouse pulls out of Laneway festival for ‘personal reasons’ amid rumors she’s expecting a baby with Robert Pattinson

Suki Waterhouse will no longer perform at Laneway Festival in 2024 amid rumors she is expecting her first child with Robert Pattinson.

The 31-year-old singer and actress pulled out of the Australian music festival due to ‘personal reasons’, according to a statement provided by the festival organisers.

Daisy Jones and The Six Stars were due to come Down Under in February for a concert which would run over five dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

Laneway organizers wrote in a statement, ‘We were very much looking forward to Suki Waterhouse joining us at Laneway Festival next year, but due to personal reasons, she cannot travel to Australia and New Zealand in February.’

‘We can’t wait to welcome Suki back to Laneway when the time is right in the future. Till then, we wish him all the best and will keep repeating it.

Instead, 26-year-old North Carolina-based rapper Cordae has replaced Waterhouse in the 2024 Laneway Festival line-up.

Waterhouse first sparked pregnancy speculation with her longtime boyfriend Pattinson, 37, earlier this month.

However, the couple, who have been together for five years, are yet to officially confirm the rumours.

The star recently showed off her tummy in a tiny black bandeau top during a solo outing in Los Feliz.

She further fueled pregnancy rumors earlier this month when she was seen showing off her baby bump while hiking with the Batman hunk.

Waterhouse and Pattinson sparked pregnancy speculation during another trip to sunny Los Angeles earlier this month.

The lovebirds were first romantically linked in 2018, and have mainly kept their relationship away from the public eye.

Earlier this year in February, the actress had opened up about her romance with The Batman actor while speaking to The Sunday Times.

She explained to the outlet that the pair try not to spend too much time together. ‘The other day I had two days off, and it seemed like there was no doubt that I was going back to see him. Then he will come out for a few days.

The beauty then said, ‘I am surprised that I have been so happy with someone for almost five years.’

‘I always get incredibly excited when I see his name (on my phone) or even a text pop up, and I think he feels the same way about me. ‘We always have a lot to say, and I find that hilarious.’

The pair have been spotted together at a few public events recently, like the Met Gala in May earlier this year as well as the Go Gala in late October last month.

Also in October, the singer opened up more about dating Pattinson and revealed that despite being together since 2018, she recently moved in with the Twilight alum.

While appearing on the Driven Minds: A Type 7 podcast, she said, ‘Because I’ve moved, I’m suffering a heavy burden of anxiety. I was not there to go, so everything was just packed in a box and sent.

After this he said, ‘It doesn’t seem that crazy. And I’m very lucky because he’s accepting of the mess and the chaos. He never says anything about this. He thinks it’s attractive. So I’m very lucky for that.

Sookie also revealed that dating Robert was ‘special’ because their relationship came after she ‘practiced celibacy’.

The star said, ‘After dating someone for a year, I got ghosted and I broke up, it was very bad. But it turned out to be great because I treated it like a battle of celibacy.

Waterhouse also talked about her long-running relationship with Pattinson and how she felt “prepared” when she came on a date with the star.

‘Maybe for me, it was about feeling really ready in a way that I hadn’t before, that I really had something to give. I’m sitting with myself – have been in a few different types of relationships.

‘Actually I have something to share now. I have a life that I’m proud of that I want to share it with and I’m stable and my girlfriends are together.’

During the interview, Suki also revealed that she wants to have children in the future but said, ‘I don’t think I’ll have four kids.’
