In the months leading up to the Eraz tour, Taylor Swift memorized and prepared every moment of the show. She works so hard – there are rarely any interruptions in her performance, either from herself or her dancers. But during a recent tour in Rio de Janeiro, Swift’s bejeweled Christian Louboutin shoes caused a slight disruption.
The musician starts each show with Lover era, kicking off the night with hits like “Cruel Summer” and fan favorite deep cuts like “Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince.” Only a few moments into the concert, Swift found herself starting with something else – the heels of her shoes. At the beginning of the show, she broke the already broken heel of her shoe and threw it off the stage.
This isn’t exactly the show of affection Swift displays when she tips her hat during “22,” but one Brazilian Swiftie went home with a crystal embroidered piece of her red bottoms. Fan Lipinho, who grabbed the heel and its associated red sole, shared his win on Instagram, writing: “Criancas ganham chapeau na eras tour. Adult Gunham…umm high jump. Thanks to @taylorswift for this… ah… gift? ”
Swift powered the rest Lover, Margot Robbie’s Barbie is shown with her foot bent into the shape of a heel. Thanks to Eras Tour Design, she only had to go through that first era before heading backstage for one of more than a dozen costume changes made during the 3-hour-long concert.
