The company proposes to relocate 40 workers to Aldaya
Address Danone in Spain proposes to move 40 of 157 workers plant Parets del Valles (Barcelona), which the French multinational wants to close, at its Aldaya facilities. Union sources explained today that this is the latest proposal that Danone has put forward for consideration by the works council.
The company offers compensation for the transfer of those wishing to travel to Valencia, early retirement from 58 years old and compensation equal to 30 days of work per year, capped at 18 monthly payments – an offer that unions say is unaffordable.
