The Doom Slayer goes back to the Middle Ages in Doom: The Dark Ages
According to media reports, Doom: The Dark Ages will be presented on June 9 during the Xbox Games Showcase, a digital event hosted by Microsoft. Apparently, it has been in development for four years, that is, since Doom Eternal went on sale.
The game originally used the codename “Year zero(year zero). This detail is interesting because, as the news reports explain, they had heard rumors that The action of the new part of Doom will take place in the medieval world..
If we add all this to the subtitle “Dark Ages” announced today, that is, under the same name by which the initial period of the Middle Ages is known, it becomes quite obvious that in this new part The Doom Slayer is about to make some kind of trip to the Middle Ages…or at least a place similar to it.
